eBay Seller BIG News LOWER Fees on Fixed Price Listings

Have you heard the news?

Today (8/20/08) eBay announced that effective 9/16/08 the listing fees for all items sold via the fixed price (buy it now) format will be lowered to only $.35.

In addition to the price reduction, the listing duration for all fixed price listings is being extended to 30 days (from the original 7 days max).

So...for only $.35 you can show a multiple quantity fixed price listing for 30 days!
(virtually eliminating your up-front costs)

That is a HUGE savings over what used to cost up to $4 for each 7-day listing.

That's 30 days of eBay traffic for only $.35.

When I started selling on eBay in 2003 I didn't read a book, and I didn't take an eBay class.

I just started listing "stuff" I had laying around the house...hoping it would sell. Some of it sold and some of it didn't. And the items that sold were quite profitable.

So...after about 6 months of trial & error I started to learn what worked and what didn't work. I also started to search for information about successful eBay selling strategies, tools, & systems.

Through eBay books and courses I found that most successful eBay sellers do certain things in a certain way over & over again. (lightbulb) So I completely immersed myself in everything I could find on eBay selling.

Since 2005 I've been travelling the U.S. as an eBay University Instructor, Certified eBay Business Consultant, Education Specialist Trained by eBay and eBay Power Seller.

I've answered a lot of questions from new eBay sellers and I've boiled down my answers to the following:
